Gas Prices Hit A Record High In Maryland Monday

Gas prices are really ridiculous," one driver said



Marylanders are paying around $3 a gallon for gas today and just pennies less feels like a bargain.



"They're disgruntled," said an AAA employee.



The average price for a gallon of regular is $3 in Maryland, 32nd highest in the nation, and up 84 cents since January 9.



According
to AAA, we hit an all-time national high Monday of $3.07 a gallon. If
you ask why, you hear about inventory and demand. You also hear about
big oil profits.



The national average could go even higher. It's summer. Here comes the sun and there go the profits.



The last time Marylanders averaged $3 a gallon was in August of last year.
