Is there really talks of Korea SK Telecom to purchase Sprint Nextel ????

Well this should shake up the market a tad, Korea's monster provider
is purportedly in talks to acquire Sprint Nextel. No details have been
released yet -- nor any solid confirmation from either side -- but
we're seeing it and hearing it all over this morning. It would indeed
be interesting to see Korea's largest carrier get into the market over
here -- well, aside from Helio
-- if only so we can get at some of those slick, slick, Korean
handsets. It seems that Telecom mergers are the new black, with Bell
Canada and Telus' attempt eventually falling off the rails, we'll see how SK Telecom and Sprint get along.

Hopkins, 42, ends Wright's 7 1/2-year unbeaten streak!!!!

If I was a beting man I would  be a few hundred lighter. Which of course i am and yes, I am
Never count out the old head.

The 42-year-old Hopkins
earned another stunning victory in the twilight of his career, ending
Wright's 7 1/2-year unbeaten streak with a unanimous decision in their
170-pound fight Saturday.

Hopkins (48-4-1, 32
knockouts) opened a gash over Wright's left eye with a head-butt in the
second round, and Hopkins spent the night picking at it while Wright
(51-4-1) scrambled and counterpunched.

Wright grew frustrated and tired in the late rounds, and Hopkins stuck
with his patient, steady strategy in a fight featuring more action than
most expected from two defensive masters - and Hopkins finished strong
for another remarkable chapter in his legacy. (Read More)

Weighing in on the war between Constellation Energy and us the people.

As a home owner I have been directly effected.
Gas is much to  high for the averge. A single person living on there own and obviously ONLY  having neccieties which  she/he has to pay on a monthly basis.
can very barely foot the entire costs.
I bet you did not know the fact that im about to mention.....http://uk.theoildrum.com/uploads/465/cv_powergen_gas_elec.png

Rumorof the trio taking of there own "super record company" jay-z ,beyonce and apple (Steve Jobs)

I can only imagine the amount of success a power dream team could/would do for the music industry as a whole. Jay z personaly has lots to think about before leaving the safe secure  comfortable position as president of DEF JAM. Beonyce on the other had obvioulsy doen not actually need to do anything but continue to " do her "
Still young and all but tere comes a time that one has to shoot for the stars and plan a laid back money collecting future. Steve Jobs is in a league of his  own. which he could quit working with out any retirement penison and possibly not e able to spen all of his green backs.

Kim Porter May Get Over A Million A Year In Child Support

SEAN Combs’ split with his long-suffering ex-girlfriend, Kim Porter, could cost him $1.2 million a year.

Combs agreed to pay one of his baby mamas, Misa Hylton-Brim, $30,000
a month in child support for their son, Justin. But Porter, who stuck
with the hip-hop impresario/lothario on and off for 10 years, has three
children with him: Christian, 10, and 7-month-old twins D’Lila
Star and Jesse James.

""LOL puffy u better keep making money through sean john cuz if u have to
give a mil a year, every year, ull be slipping off the Forbes list
homie. anyway u can afford it but i gotta say kim porter got her child
support game on lock…..its kinda sad that all you’ve
really accomplished in ur life was to pop out kids 4 diddy, i mean

BROOKLYN MURDERS going down down down. ( not the murder rate)

The June 19 murder of Philip Airey, a 36-year-old Caucasian man from
Glen Burnie, was added to the city's homicide rolls this week. Airey
was found beaten and stabbed in the trunk of a car that had been set on
fire near the ramp from I-295 to West Nursery Road in Anne Arundel
County. On June 26, Maryland State Police contacted Baltimore police
and told them that they had evidence that the murder actually occurred
in a building in the 4800 block of Pennington Avenue in Curtis Bay,
making it a Baltimore City homicide. State Police arrested Michael
Martin, a 28-year-old Caucasian man, for the murder on June 21. Robert
Speake, an 18-year-old Caucasian man, was arrested three days later by
state troopers and city police after he broke into a building in the
2000 block of Benhill Avenue in Curtis Bay and barricaded himself
inside. According to State Police, Airey left a bar in Curtis Bay early
in the morning on June 19 and went to a Pennington Avenue address where
he got into an argument with Martin and Speake and was then killed.

This weekend, Under Armour will unveil its biggest marketing campaign ever aimed at female consumers

Under Armour's
new marketing campaign, which was developed after an extensive survey
with female athletes, works to address a feeling from some women that
they needed their own slogan, which the company has tagged BoomBoom-Tap.

Key to expansion
The campaign is
crucial to the company's future as it sees increasing sales of women's
apparel key to its expansion plans. Women's products are now about 24
percent of all sales and Under Armour executives believe those sales will eventually surpass that of men. Under Armour makes athletic apparel that wicks sweat from the body to control body temperature.

The company has acknowledged past missteps in its initial try at
gaining a large share of the women's market. It scrapped its first line
of women's products several years ago because it was nothing more than
a smaller version of the men's line.

Jacko moving to Maryland?

update: 7/4/07

Confirmed: Jacko really was house-hunting in Maryland

The Reliable Source today confirms that Michael Jackson was indeed searching for a house on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
Jackson’s publicist Raymone Bain confirmed that he was in the
area with his children looking for a vacation home. She says he did not
buy any property while there and has since moved farther north in his
search. His rep also says that he decided not to buy the Vegas house he
was leasing and that he came east for business meetings.

7/2/07
Today’s Sun reports on the rumored house-hunting trip this week to St. Michaels by Michael Jackson. The self-proclaimed King of Pop reportedly spent Thursday night at the Inn at Perry Cabin. The hotel’s general manager refused comment (as if anybody at The Sun
actually expected him to talk about it?), but reports were that Jackson
was travelling with bodyguards as part of an entourage. He reportedly
looked at one house in Queen Anne’s County and two in Talbot
County.

Locals assumed a helicopter in the area was paparazzi seeking
photographs, but the fact that it stayed some distance away was
attributed to a no-fly zone implemented when Vice President Cheney
purchase a house there. The article mentions that there also rumors of
Julia Roberts looking at property in the area as well as supposed
sightings of Eric Clapton’s sailboat. Also mentioned are houses
owned by two former presidential press secretaries (which ones?) and a
former Secretary of Defense (Rumsfeld?)

The Easton Star Democrat first broke the story (you can’t read the story here unless you subscribe to the newspaper however, since they’re using that flawed model for their website.) WBAL TV
reported on the rumors Friday night as well, although there’s no
story on their website about it. Video footage (not available on the
station site or their Youtube section)
on the station (taken from the aforementioned helicopter) showed people
holding white sheets up while someone exited the hotel and entered a
limousine.

The Daily Dish
reports that Jackson is moving out of his Las Vegas mansion today
because the lease is expiring. Security concerns there, where the
singer moved from Ireland in December, were cited. His rep recently denied rumors that he was bedridden an on medication.

Choosing between CDMA and GSM~~~~the two main digital technologies that cell phone carriers in the United States use to transmit calls.

Of the major operators, T-Mobile and Cingular use GSM, while Sprint and
Verizon
Wireless use CDMA.
Nextel uses another technology called iDEN, but it will be phased out around 2010 due to Nextel's
recent merger with Sprint.

GSM :  is the dominant cell phone technology globally. GSM is the standard in
Europe, but it's also present in North and South America, Africa, Asia,
Oceania, and the Caribbean. So GSM is a much better choice for global
travelers who want to take their phone when they go abroad. GSM phones
also use SIM cards, which make it much easier to switch your phone number and contacts list between two handsets.

CDMA: is used in fewer regions around the world, but it has a very strong
footprint in the United States. In fact, its national coverage area
here is larger than GSM when you take into account analog networks.
Though they won't be around forever, analog networks provide better
coverage in rural areas. Also, CDMA carriers have been quicker about
rolling out 3G networks. Though the GSM players will catch up eventually, they lag behind as of now.
