Brooklyn/Curtis Bays own, Local Hip-Hop Event Implodes
No Baltimore hip-hop freestyle event has yet to fill the void left
when the monthly Style Warz battles came to an unceremonious end last
year thanks to a conflict between the event's organizers. So Rock Da Mic Wednesdays, a new weekly competition put together by three influential local crews--Team Fifty, Deep
Flow, and Raw D.O.C.--looked
promising, but based on how the night progressed, it looks like Rock Da
Mic may already be falling victim to the same kind of unfortunate
infighting that destroyed Style Warz.
The club, Taste
International way down in Curtis Bay, is a classy little joint with an
odd floor plan that effectively splits the venue into two adjacent
rooms: the performance area and the bar (although the MCs actually
performed in front of another bar). The bulk of the crowd constantly
alternated between the rooms, but only the performance area was as
humid as an armpit, necessitating frequent trips to the bar just to
cool off. And the male-to-female ratio was refreshingly tilted toward
the latter, far more than your average local rap show.

Zab Juda vs Miguel Cotto June 9th MSG fight is finally here.
I am going to predict Cotto knocking the clearly unfocused over cockey ZAB to the ground before
the end of he 4th.
ZAB will have at least 1 penalty deduction of 1 point by the end of 7 rounds!
Possibly last round decision.
I truley attend to see a much more entertaing fight then what the (so called) ponp 4 pound champian Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs the Golden Boy Oscar Delahoya fight.
Men of boxing send your woman out for the night, Grab a few X-Tra chairs some man food and last but certainly not least, a few casses of Brew. C-Ya there.

All-State Career's Baltimore campus is located near the Port of
Baltimore at 2200 Broening Highway, Suite 160, Baltimore, MD 21224. The

from I-95 and I-895. The physical plant consists of classrooms,

Police believe Rapper Fat Joe may have been on the scene when two men
were shot and killed outside of David's Cafe II in South Beach.
Miami Beach police arrested a man they say murdered two people during a
Memorial Day brawl on South Beach, and now they are seeking a possible
witness to the gunplay: rapper Fat Joe.
Police say Jose ''Fat Joe'' Cartagena may have been with Lessli Paz and
Joey Navarro, who were shot dead near Lincoln Road early Monday.
It is unclear whether the New York City rapper was directly involved in
a fight that led to the fatal shootings, or how he slipped away from
the scene. Detectives only want to talk to him as a possible witness,
stressed Miami Beach police spokesman Sgt. Robert Hernandez.
A spokeswoman for Fat Joe, Aimee Morris, said she had not talked to the
rapper and could not immediately comment. His whereabouts were not
known Tuesday.

Eminem's Real Stan? An aspiring Canadian rapper reportedly earned a visit from local authorities and a call from Detroit police for stealing the cell phone of Eminem's ex wife, and dialing the multi-platinum rapper.

Sources say Kyle Spratt of Ontario stole Kim Mathers cellphone at a
bingo hall he worked at when Kim stepped outside to have a smoke.
Spratt then used Kim's phone to repeatedly call Eminem and ask him to
listen to his demo.
Detroit police in turn called the phone and warned Spratt to
stop harassing Em. Upset that he was getting nowhere, he recorded a
song titled "Slim Sellout" utilizing the phone conversations he
recorded between he and Eminem and the one from Detroit police
department. Spratt told sources that he was a big fan of Eminem, but
now fuck him.
